(DIU) Prof. Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for academic collaboration and cooperation between MU and DIU.

The MoU signing ceremony was held at the DIU Knowledge Tower inside Daffodil Smart City, Dhaka, Bangladesh and the agreement

is mainly focused on but not limited to student exchange, faculty exchange, sharing resources, intern exchange, scholarship opportunity, etc.

In the MoU ceremony the DIU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rahman also handed over the offer letter for the post of Visiting

Professor to MU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nanda Bahadur Singh in the Department of Pharmacy under the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, DIU.

Right before the MoU ceremony, the MU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Singh delivered his presentation on ‘The University Autonomy

and its Role in the 21st Century: Transformative Reforms within Mid-West University, Nepal’ to the officials and faculty of DIU.

Followed by the first presentation, the MU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Singh delivered a seminar presentation on ‘Molecular

Trends and Techniques useful for Modern Human Beings Along with Applied Ethno-genomics from Nepal’ to the students of DIU.

After the MoU signing ceremony and presentations the Deputy Director of International Affairs at DIU Syed Raihan-Ul-Islam

escorted the MU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Singh to the different departments and institutions of the DIU.
